|Character Trait of the Month: SELF REGULATION
“If you learn self-control, you can master absolutely anything.”
This week, we will learn about the importance of Poetry. Students will be able to identify similes, alliteration, repetition and rhyming patterns.
We will start working on measurement. Students will learn the relationship between estimated and precise measurements, and determine and justify when each kind is appropriate.
During this period, we will talk about outer planets and inner planets. Students will study a quick review of the 7 planets in our solar system, including the sun and the moon.
We will continue our trip around the world and make a stop to discover the multi-cultural history and geography of South America.
November 20th 6A: Biography Summary Oral Presentation.
November 22nd : PHOTO DAY! Remember to wear proper uniform with your shirts tucked.
November 24th: International Day 6A will represent Venezuela and 6B will represent Brazil.
November 28th : Character Trait Assembly: Self-Regulation.
December 10th : FUN DAY!
