Curricular Learning

Language Arts:

We will present our own origin fables to the class this week. We will also continue reading about legends and myths.


We will continue practicing angles and constructing polygons with given angles.


In Science, we are continuing to learn about the principles of flight and how planes fly.

Social Studies:

We have already discovered that Europe is not a very big continent but it has so much history. We will continue looking deeper into Europe’s history.

Important Dates:

February 6th – Parent/Teacher interviews – 2:45 – 4:30 p.m.

February 23rdNational Day events – 11:00 – 2:00 p.m

March 6thYoung Author’s Day


·       Please make sure students have a PROTRACTOR SET for their math class since we are working on measurement, geometry and polygons.

·      Please review your students Communication Book for the most up-to-date information on assigned homework.

·       Please read 20 minutes with your child every day!

·       Since it is winter, the H1N1 virus is floating around. Please ensure students do not attend school if they are sick.
